Hollywood Star Loves “Fake Son” MJF

Life is looking good for MJF.

At All In, MJF launched himself back into AEW World Championship contention with victory in the Men’s Casino Gauntlet Match. The win means that he’s now earned a shot at the World Title currently held by “Hangman” Adam Page.

The star last held the World Championship from late 2022 until Worlds End on December 30, 2023, when he was defeated by Samoa Joe.

MJF Made An Impression

As well as earning plaudits and accolades for his performances inside the ring, the AEW star has also begun to make an impression in Hollywood.

The Salt of the Earth is set to star in Happy Gilmore 2 alongside Adam Sandler and Julie Bowen as one of their sons, when the movie is released on July 25. During the press tour for the movie, Sandler and Bowen spoke glowingly to Chris Van Vliet about MJF.

Sandler said the star is funny as hell, adding that he loves his fake son.

“Funny as hell. What a great kid. Love him. Family member…

He went and had a match and came back the next day. It was at the Garden, I think…he had some extra bruises. That kid is jacked and he’s a stud. I’m happy to say he’s my fake son forever. I love my fake son. I love him in real life.”

The movie is also set to feature appearances from Becky Lynch and Nikki Bella.
