Hollywood Star Loved Working With John Cena

A very famous name has been impressed by John Cena.

Although he’s currently knee deep in his WWE retirement, John Cena’s latest movie project will be released in the coming days.

On July 2, Cena’s new action thriller ‘Heads Of State’ co-starring Edris Elba will be released on Amazon Prime Video. The pair first worked together on ‘The Suicide Squad’ back in 2021.

During an appearance on The Breakfast Club, Elba broke down why he enjoyed working with Cena so much, and why he’s still convinced he could beat him in a fight.

“One of the things why I love working with John is that he is very humble, he’s very grounded. As famous as he is, as successful as he is, when we’re all on a set — everybody, the person behind the camera or in front, is equal. That’s something that I think he really strives to bring the film set. I love that.

We have both worked with people that do not feel that way, that feel like they are better and therefore, actions need to act that way. It is so refreshing to be with someone, work with someone that is an equal and is prepared to keep it all. We never have to squabble or fight. If we do, I’ll kick his ass, that’s just how it works.”

John Cena Beats Long-Time Rival

In the main event of Night of Champions, John Cena defeated CM Punk to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship. Not only was the match for arguably the biggest prize in the company, but it also represented the final time that the long-time rivals would share the ring before Cena’s retirement.

Despite that billing, some fans felt there remains a story to tell between the pair, and that the storyline might run until SummerSlam.

However, during the post-show, Triple H confirmed that Punk and Cena won’t wrestle again.
