WWE vs Hollywood: What's tougher?

Six-time World Champion compares Hollywood to WWE.

WWE Superstars are often seen portraying roles in the world of cinema. A few find their footing and take on Hollywood as a full-time career option. Former World Champion Batista shared his thoughts on what he found tougher – WWE or Hollywood, and why.

The Animal has been away from the wrestling promotion for quite some time now. The Guardians Of The Galaxy star wrestled his last match in the promotion at WrestleMania 35. He took on Triple H in a No Holds Barred Match that saw Ric Flair interfering to ensure The Game got his win over his former mentee. In an interview later on, Batista revealed that he wanted the match to take place inside Hell In A Cell.

During his time away, Batista has appeared in many movies and TV shows. He has become a familiar face in the world of Hollywood, but never forgets to credit his roots as a WWE Superstar. In a recent interview with Film Inside, the Hall of Famer promoted his upcoming movie, In The Lost Lands. During the conversation, the six-time World Champion compared being on a set and his time in wrestling. He stated that while being on a set for many hours is challenging, life in Hollywood is a cakewalk compared to life in WWE.

“I have a strong work ethic, and my work ethic really came from the WWE, if nothing else, they’re not only durable people, but it’s just the hardest grind that I could ever imagine. Being in Hollywood and being on a film set, it’s long hours, but compared to the grind of being a professional wrestler, it’s just a cakewalk. I mean, it’s night and day,” [H/T: Fightful]

Batista would still want to be a part of WWE

Batista has had a prestigious career in the world of wrestling. Stemming from OVW to headlining WrestleMania, The Animal has little left to accomplish in the world of pro wrestling. It has been six years since he has set foot in the ring, but as they say in the business, never say never.

During an appearance on BuzzFeed Celeb last year, Batista was asked where he’d be if Hollywood hadn’t worked out. He happily replied, saying that he would be in the WWE. Batista also stated that he would love to have the option to return sometime down the road if WWE kept the door open for him.
