Hollywood Figures Begging To Work With Roman Reigns

The world of Hollywood is ready for Roman Reigns, according to a certain WWE Hall of Famer who knows Reigns well.

In the main event of WrestleMania 41 Saturday, Roman Reigns will face his rivals CM Punk and Seth Rollins in a huge triple threat match main event. It will be Roman’s 10th WrestleMania main event, which is a record.

During the build up to the WrestleMania 41 match, CM Punk getting to main event WrestleMania for the first time is a big deal, but in Reigns’ view, it’s the main event because he is in the match. There are likely a lot of fans who wouldn’t argue with that.

Roman Reigns made some interesting comments in a Vanity Fair article suggesting that his time in the ring may be winding down in another two or three years because he wants to pursue a career in Hollywood.

Paul Heyman is a close friend of Roman Reigns who has been paired with him as the “Wise Man” for over four years. While speaking to Fox News, Heyman claimed that Reigns and himself have been offered acting roles, but they weren’t able to commit to them.

“I would also suggest, in the limited space that media is provided to tell the tale of the quotes that they are given, that a lot of people are missing part of the story, which is this is nothing new. Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman have been offered roles, projects, films, TV series, reality shows for the past several years.”

“I can show you my phone right now, and there are people begging to fly up from Hollywood to take in a meeting either before or after WrestleMania about directing films, writing films, this project.

And I’m not knocking indie films — I’m a big fan of indie films — but I’m not talking $1-2 million budgets. I’m talking real, substantial studio budgets. And, because of the schedule and because of commitments, neither one of us have jumped on that.”

Roman Reigns Doesn’t Have Time For Hollywood Schedule

Many fans criticize Roman Reigns for having a limited schedule that has seen him wrestle only one match so far in 2025, but according to Heyman, Reigns doesn’t have the time to take movie deals.

“So, Roman saying that this is a consideration of his and that it is something that he would like to exploit is nothing new, but under the current contract, he doesn’t have the time and the amount of time in a block to pursue such goals. And as he looks at whatever the next deal may be, I’m sure he wants to carve out times that he can now expand his horizons and include that within his annual schedule.”

The Roman Reigns-CM Punk-Seth Rollins match will headline WrestleMania 41 on Saturday, April 19th. Fans can watch it on Peacock in the US and Netflix internationally.
