Fresh Hint WWE Hall Of Famer Could Wrestle Again

WWE Hall Of Famer Responds To Accusations That They Politicked Their Way To World Title

A former World Champion reportedly isn’t done with WWE.

At Bad Blood, World Heavyweight Champion Gunther decided to take a few verbal shots at Goldberg who was sitting ringside.

Gunther called the Hall of Famer a “one trick pony” and said he hoped he was a better dad than he was a wrestler.

At this, Goldberg jumped the barrier and tried to get at Gunther only to be thwarted by security. Sensing an opportunity, Sami Zayn launched his own assault on the World Champion before the pair were pulled apart.

In the weeks since the event, Triple H has repeatedly suggested that the door remains open for Goldberg to get back in the ring.

However, it was reported that there are no plans for Goldberg to face Gunther at Survivor Series or WrestleMania. But fans were quick to notice there was no mention of the Royal Rumble which will take place between Survivor Series and WrestleMania.

It certainly appeared that Gunther vs. Bill Goldberg is coming soon based on the angle last night. I don’t know when other than we were told at this point it is not planned for either WrestleMania or Survivor Series.

WWE Has Plans For Goldberg

Interestingly, it seems that despite this, fans might not have seen the last of Goldberg. During a Backstage Pass Q&A, when asked whether the veteran could show up during Gunther’s match with Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel, Wrestle Votes confirmed that while they’re unclear at present, the company does have plans for Goldberg.

“Yes, I don’t know for sure, but there are plans for Goldberg in the future, yes.”

Goldberg hasn’t wrestled since being defeated by Roman Reigns at Elimination Chamber in February 2022.
