High-Profile Indie Star Drops WWE Hint
A rising star is ready to take WWE by storm.
In July 2023, Zilla Fatu — the son of late WWE star Umaga, made his in-ring debut with Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling. The veteran has played a key role in Fatu’s young career, training him at his own facility in Houston, Texas.
There was an immediate buzz around the star, not only because of his famous father but also because of connections to The Bloodline.
Since then, the star has continued to build momentum and he was most recently in action at House of Glory City of Dreamz where he defended his HOG Jewel Title against Donovan Dijak.
During an interview with Tim Hann Rivera, Fatu was asked whether he had any WWE-related hints on his future.
“All I say is, when that time comes, it’s gonna be very big, and it’s gonna be very impactful, for my family, for my mom, my brothers, my dad, and I can’t wait because it’s going to be very, very special. We’re going to make history when I debut. Best believe that,”
When asked what he would add to the main roster, Fatu said his raw and uncut persona would take him to the top.
“What I could add to the main roster is just being raw, being uncut, not talking through filters. Just being real, and I feel like when you’re real, the product is gonna be more authentic. When that happens, when you touch people’s emotions, that’s where you take the story to a whole ‘nother level.
It’s not even about the wrestling. It’s not about none of that. It’s about the story. So if I can do that and go out there and execute every time, it’s gonna be dangerous for a lot of people. So I just can’t wait,”
Anoa’i Family Member Might Not Make It In WWE
While Zilla Fatu is hopeful of adding to the Anoa’i family legacy in WWE, a new report has suggested that Lance Anoa’i is already struggling.
The former MLW star signed with WWE in the summer of 2024, but he’s yet to make his TV debut due to a long-standing injury. However, Anoa’i has reportedly come in for criticism from those inside the company and it’s been suggested he “might not make it.”
Former NJPW star Hikuleo has also been left on the sidelines since signing with the company, but his absence remains more of a mystery as there’s been no talk of negative feedback.
