“He’s An Afterthought” – Major Claim Made About Ron Killings’ WWE Status

Ron Killings

Has Ron Killings simply become an afterthought in WWE, just weeks after a U-turn was made on letting him go?

The wrestling world rallied to support R-Truth after he revealed that his WWE contract was coming to an end and would not be renewed. However, those plans quickly changed, and R-Truth was back at Money In The Bank, where he laid out WWE Champion John Cena. It soon became clear that Truth now wanted to be known as Ron Killings.

That led to Cena facing Ron Killings once again on the June 20th edition of SmackDown. The WWE Champion got himself disqualified when he nailed Killings with a title belt. And since then, Killings has somewhat fallen down the card again.

Ron Killings: A WWE Afterthought?

Speaking on Coach & Bro, former WWE announcer Jonathan Coachman explained that Killings has now just become an afterthought in the company:

This is what happens and this is why guys over the years, we’ve seen a million of them. Not me because I was always used in every storyline. But guys that sit on the side and then they say well, I’m not being used. So if you’re Ron Killings right now and you’re walking in, I’m sure he thought man they made a mistake, I’m front page news, I get to wrestle John Cena, I’m going to be used – he’s an afterthought.

They said we need a match halfway through SmackDown to get from B to C, so we’ll use Ron Killings.
