Heel WWE Star Tipped To Win Men’s MITB
The men’s Money in the Bank match has a mix of high-flyers and traditional mat wrestlers.
One wrestler, however, boasts of both styles and, as a result, a veteran manager has tipped him to win big at MITB.
While appearing on Drive Thru, Jim Cornette named Seth Rollins as the man to win the ladder match on June 7. Rollins will go against Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, Penta, Andrade, and El Grande Americano.
The former world champion currently leads a heel faction, including Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker, and Paul Heyman.
Rollins, who is part of the Raw brand, appeared on SmackDown this week and was involved in a staredown with Sikoa’s Bloodline.
Before naming Rollins as the potential winner, Cornette wished to have more ‘main event guys’ competing in the match instead of ‘stars who wouldn’t be winning.’
But Andrade, obviously no. Gable no. Penta no. LA Knight, they [WWE] are teasing us, and something’s going to happen with Solo [Sikoa] and the rest of his estranged family [Bloodline]. Seth [Rollins] has got to win this. Does he not? He’s the leader of the new top heel faction with Paul [Heyman], with the two Brons [Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed]. They look like the modern incarnation of a Horsemen-type group. I don’t see Seth not winning this thing, he said. [From 3:56]
Seth Rollins Attacks WWE MITB Opponents
Seth Rollins, who was on SmackDown this week, attacked LA Knight during his match with Aleister Black.
Before the match, Knight had a few choice words for Rollins, but also highlighted that the former US Champion had won MITB previously.
Not taking lightly to being targeted, Rollins, Breakker, and Reed took out Knight. Breakker also made a statement by nailing Black with a huge spear. Later, the trio attacked Penta and Andrade, too.
Rollins’ faction is determined to gain as much power as possible, and the first step is to win the Money in the Bank briefcase.
