Headliner For 2025 WWE Hall Of Fame Revealed
One of WWE’s most important figures will be joining the Hall of Fame in 2025.
As reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the headline act for the 2025 Hall of Fame will be Triple H. As noted by Johnson, The Game was surprised during a WWE Town Hall event for company employees on January 29th.
Stephanie McMahon, Shawn Michaels, and The Undertaker made the announcement.
Johnson adds that Triple H was “completely caught off guard and got very emotional.” In response, he joked he was going to kill Nick Khan.
Triple H Set For Second WWE Hall Of Fame Induction
Although he will be inducted on his own in 2025, Triple H was first inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019 as part of D-X alongside Shawn Michaels, Chyna, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, and X-Pac.
Triple H has a long association with WWE, stretching back to 1995. The would-be World Champion began training in 1990 and later became part of WCW. However, after just one year with the company he decided to move on, seeking better opportunities (and pay) with the World Wrestling Federation.
After starting out firmly in the mid-card, the star eventually smashed his way into the main event picture as part of D-X. However, it wouldn’t be until the second half of 1998 and into 1999 that he truly began to make his mark. Triple H’s rise to the top was famously delayed in 1996 after he took part in the “Curtain Call” as Scott Hall and Kevin Nash went to WCW. This saw a planned King of the Ring win scrapped.
Triple H won his first World Championship in August 1999 and remained close to the top prize for the following decade. The 14-time World Champion married Stephanie McMahon in 2003 after the pair began a relationship three years earlier.
After playing a key role in the rise of NXT as his in-ring career began to wind down, Triple H was named WWE’s Chief Content Officer in September 2022. The veteran has only seen his power grow since then following the departure of disgraced former Chairman, and his father-in-law, Vince McMahon.
