“Hangman” Adam Page Retains AEW World Championship At All Out
“Hangman” Adam Page found himself in a battle against Kyle Fletcher at AEW All Out.
Page won the AEW World Championship at All In: Texas, when he defeated Jon Moxley.
Kyle Fletcher, meanwhile, won the TNT Championship from Dustin Rhodes during the July 31 episode of Collision. He successfully defended it against Hiromu Takahashi at Forbidden Door.
AEW seemingly had plans to involve Page in a feud with Wardlow, who returned at Forbidden Door after over a year.
Unfortunately, he suffered another injury at the event, which will again keep him out of action.
As a member of the Don Collins Family, Kyle Fletcher has been impressive since being given the center stage by AEW, earning praises from the likes of Adam Copeland.
Adam Page Survives Kyle Fletcher
With 60 minutes allotted for the match, Adam Page and Kyle Fletcher looked determined to go the distance.
Fletcher walked into the match with a disadvantage. As per the stipulation, The Protostar would be forced to relinquish his TNT title if anyone from the Don Collins Family interfered.
They hit every move from their respective arsenal for various close pinfalls.
In the closing minutes, Fletcher exposed a steel post, but it only backfired. Page took advantage by hitting Dead Eye from the middle rope and finished the match with the Buckshot Lariat.
