At Double Or Nothing The Elite were in action against the Blackpool Combat Club and things did not end well for Kenny Omega.
The two factions met off in a bloody and wild Anarchy In The Arena bout but in the end, Kenny Omega was close to picking up the win before the dastardly Don Callis intervened bringing Konosuke Takeshita with him as he shockingly turned on Omega and giving the BCC the win.
With Takeshita seemingly aligned with the BCC that gives the group a 5-on-4 advantage in terms of numbers over The Elite, but it looks like plans are afoot to even the sides once again.
On Dynamite in San Diego, California Hangman Adam Page suffered every millennial’s worst nightmare as his friendship groups clashed backstage with The Dark Order seemingly upset that Page was with his reunited friends in The Young Bucks.
After they left the scene, Alex Marvez tried to get an update on Kenny Omega who he claimed had gone back to Canada to recuperate. Page noted that Omega was not in the US, but he wasn’t in Canada either. The tease is that the former AEW World Champions is in Japan, possibly recruiting his old foe Kazuchika Okada or his old lover Kota Ibushi to help aid The Elite’s cause against the Blackpool Combat Club and Konosuke Takeshita.
