Gunther’s WWE Future Questioned After Surprising Social Media Activity
Gunther’s has deleted almost all of his tweets on X, a decision that has left his followers surprised.
‘The Ring General’ is a regular on WWE Raw programming, but has experienced a decline in his push since losing his championship to Jey Uso at WrestleMania 41.
However, the Austrian heavyweight is back in title contention and will face the World Heavyweight Champion on the Raw episode following Money in the Bank PLE.
While Jey Uso currently holds the title, it remains to be seen whether or not the MITB winner utilizes the same-day cash-in option to become the new champion.

Is Gunther Planning a Hiatus?
Gunther’s decision to delete most of his tweets has led to numerous speculations among fans.
Many fans and critics have questioned his future in the company, believing that he has yet to find the right opponent to match his aura. One fan even commented that the former champion needs a reset, a sentiment that was echoed by former wrestler Aiden English.
It’s time for him [Gunther] to make himself stand out without that [holding a title]. It has for the last two years; he’s been IC [champion] right into the world title basically. If the only thing that defines you is having a championship, having a title, and holding it over people’s heads, you’ve got to have more than that. And so it’s time for him to find that, he said.
