A WWE Hall of Famer has revealed how Gunther really feels about getting in the ring with Goldberg.
Gunther recently reclaimed the World Heavyweight Championship from Jey Uso, but another star was waiting in the wings for The Ring General.
Goldberg returned to WWE to confront Gunther, not forgetting their earlier clash at Bad Blood, where the Austrian star embarrassed the WCW icon in front of his family. Soon, WWE made the match official, Goldberg will face Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event in the WWE Hall of Famer’s final match of his career.
Gunther Looking Forward To Goldberg Clash
Speaking on Busted Open, Bully Ray explained how Gunther is looking at his match with Goldberg after speaking to the World Heavyweight Champion:
I’ll pull the curtain back here, I don’t give a sh*t who gets mad at me. I saw Gunther last week down at the PC I said, “Good luck brother, hope you have a great match, if anybody can get what you need out of Bill, it’s you.” And Gunther told me he was looking forward to the match. He was looking forward to it because he’s looking at it as a challenge, both in the ring and outside of the ring.
The challenge of being able to get a good match out of Bill Goldberg. 3 minutes or 30 minutes, I don’t care as long as it’s entertaining.
