GUNTHER Addresses Royal Rumble Showdown With Brock Lesnar

GUNTHER acknowledges that there is very real fan interest in a match between Brock Lesnar and himself.

At the 2023 Royal Rumble GUNTHER and Lesnar had a short but highly-anticipated confrontation. After it – and the match – ended, fans have continued to speculate about a possible singles match between them.

As of this writing, such a match hasn’t been teased, much less confirmed. However, GUNTHER has seen the fans’ responses to his confrontation with Lesnar and has reiterated his own interest in facing him.

Speaking on an edition of WWE’s The Bump, GUNTHER explained why he’s a fan of Lesnar and why he understands the fans’ desire to see the two of them face off.

“It was a super exciting moment for me. So, obviously, Brock, as a competitor, I was always impressed with. I said it before: people call me kind of like the end boss in situations, but Brock might be my personal end boss. I think that moment we had was all I needed out of it right now. Basically, real-life confirmation that the audience is up for that.”

In previous discussions on the subject, GUNTHER also said that he would gladly accept a match with Lesnar if it was offered to him.
