Gunther Set To Make Huge Announcement On WWE RAW

Gunther allegedly planned to make a major announcement on the latest episode of WWE RAW.

At Saturday Night’s Main Event, he became the wrestling world’s greatest modern-day villain when he not only defeated John Cena in his final match, but also made him submit to his sleeper hold.

Leading up to Saturday, he had predicted to force Cena to quit, just like how LA Knight did in the final of the “Last Time Is Now” tournament.

Gunther had walked into the match after winning four matches on the trot, whereas the 17-time world champion had lost his last match to Dominik Mysterio at Survivor Series: WarGames.

Gunther Blown Away By Reception Received On Monday Night RAW

Gunther opened the December 15 episode of the red brand to a chorus of boos.

He could only smile every time he spoke, as the audience tried to silence him with their chants like “You suck” and “You tapped out,” the latter referring to him tapping out to Jey Uso at WrestleMania 41.

The Ring General reiterated that he made John Cena tap out, and then went a step further by saying, “He tapped out like a little b*tch.”

During a recent interview on TMZ Sports, the 38-year-old was asked what was next for him. He revealed that he would make the big announcement on the upcoming RAW episode.

Like, what is there that I want to tell the people and stuff, and as soon as I walked out, I realized there’s not much that I should tell them today because I’m gonna enjoy the damage that has been done and how upset they are.
