GUNTHER Could Face Raw Newcomer At WWE WrestleMania 41

The World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER could be facing a brand new opponent at WrestleMania 41.

There have been a lot of rumors about WrestleMania 41 matches that could take place at WWE’s biggest event of the year on April 19 and April 20 in Las Vegas.

Matches like Roman Reigns possibly facing CM Punk at WrestleMania have been discussed and Cody Rhodes could defend the WWE Championship against John Cena as well. As for The Rock, it is believed that if he wants to be in a match then he will be because he calls the shots.

As the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Gunther is expected to have a big match at WrestleMania 41 too. It’s possible that Gunther could lose his World Title before WrestleMania as well, but if he remains the champion, he’ll likely need a big-name opponent.

It has been reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider Elite that there have been creative pitches for Gunther to face former US Champion Logan Paul at WrestleMania. While nothing has been locked in yet, the match is being pushed internally by the creative team in WWE.

In a video that aired on Raw’s Netflix premiere, Logan Paul said WWE was no longer a side hustle for him and he’s going to 100% be a WWE superstar. Paul had been on the Smackdown brand in 2023 and 2024, but he will be a part of Raw moving forward.

GUNTHER Could Be Goldberg’s Final WWE Opponent

An angle was done between Gunther and WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg at WWE Bad Blood where Gunther proved the WWE legend. It has been reported that Goldberg is expected to be at WWE Monday Night Raw on January 27th in Atlanta.

Goldberg is likely to have at least one more match in WWE and Gunther may be his final opponent. That’s likely not going to be a WrestleMania match, but it could take place at another WWE PLE event this year.
