WWE turns over a new leaf come Monday Night RAW, in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

The red brand’s general manager, Adam Pearce, announced that Gunther is scheduled to be on the show after his dominant victory over John Cena at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

After being associated with the Stamford promotion for over 23 years, Cena bid adieu to wrestling fans, but not before losing to The Ring General.

In his last ever wrestling match, the 48-year-old went toe-to-toe with the Austrian heavyweight but came up short, as Gunther made him tap out to his Sleeper submission.

Cena had last tapped out during a match in 2004 against Kurt Angle.

It is safe to assume that WWE will present the 38-year-old as the company’s top heel.

Also advertised for December 15 is the return of the World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, who missed two consecutive tapings of the red brand.

Punk last competed at Survivor Series: WarGames, where his team lost to the heel team, comprising The Vision, Drew McIntyre, and Brock Lesnar.

Championships On The Line On WWE RAW In Addition To Gunther’s Appearance

While Gunther is expected to be the biggest draw of the night, Adam Pearce announced a couple of title matches, too.

Stephanie Vaquer will put the Women’s World Championship on the line against The Judgment Day’s Raquel Rodriguez. Last week, Rodriguez thwarted Nikki Bella before staking her claim to La Primera’s title.

Vaquer retained her championship at Survivor Series by defeating Bella.

Women’s Intercontinental Champion Maxxine Dupri will defend her title against Ivy Nile, who recently reappeared on WWE programming. Dupri defeated Becky Lynch on the November 17 episode of RAW to win her first-ever title.

The New Day will renew their rivalry against The Usos after both teams came face-to-face last week.
