Grayson Waller Part Of The New Day? Truth Revealed On WWE RAW
On July 21, 2025, WWE fans saw a big change for Grayson Waller. He announced the end of his tag team with Austin Theory, known as A-Town Down Under, because Theory suffered a real injury, making it impossible for them to keep teaming together.
Later that same night on RAW, Waller looked for a fresh start. He joined forces with The New Day. Feeling confident, Grayson Waller gave himself the nickname “Big G” and even joked about taking the place of Big E in the stable. However, things were not as perfect as they looked.
The New Day asked Waller should drop anyone who is holding him back, just as they claimed they had done with Big E in the past. Despite the strange advice, Grayson Waller tried to prove himself. He represented The New Day in pursuit of a rematch for the World Tag Team Championships, which the group lost to The Judgment Day on June 30 after a 72-day title reign.
Grayson Waller Is Not Officially a New Day Member
On the August 4 edition of the flagship show, Grayson Waller spotted General Manager Adam Pearce talking to Penta backstage. He demanded a tag title shot for The New Day, but Pearce made it clear The New Day would need to earn that opportunity, and Waller had only earned himself another match with Penta, which he lost.
During Waller’s match, The New Day was on commentary to support Waller, and they said that they were going to take him under their wing, but refused to confirm Grayson Waller as an official member of their faction. Therefore, his spot with The New Day is far from certain. After the match, The New Day attempted to attack Penta, but he fought them off and even snatched Xavier Woods’ hat as a trophy.
