Goldberg’s Son’s Chances Of Joining WWE Allegedly “Killed”

Goldberg

Goldberg has already revealed that he wants his son to join the WWE. However, he may have already killed that opportunity for his son.

Recently, the WWE Hall of Famer made headlines with his negative comments regarding WWE. It came after his retirement speech was cut short from the broadcast, despite the company putting the entire segment on social media.

It so happens that Goldberg has been blasted for his comments, but more so because now, his son could be the one to pay the price for it.

Goldberg refused an NIL deal for his son that may have killed his chances at joining the WWE

Jonathan Coachman and Vince Russo discussed a previous decision that the WWE Hall of Famer had made wherein he rejected an NIL deal for his son.

“They offered his son an NIL deal. He said in an interview, he decided to turn it down. As if it wasn’t enough money, as if it wasn’t enough prestige. There’s some guy that got upwards of 40 or $50,000. Most of them, because I had two guys Vince, two young kids who decided not to take an NIL deal. They reached out to me to ask for my advice because when WWE started this, they reached out to dozens and dozens and dozens of young kids and some of the bigger stars. The whole point, Vince, was so that they can’t go to AEW. It’s in the contract that if you take the NIL money, you can’t sign with AEW. So, they’re looking at different talents saying, ‘What is this person worth?’. So, Goldberg turned it down. I don’t care if it was for zero dollars. You don’t take the NIL money for the money. You take it for the opportunity. And, when you say, ‘no, it wasn’t good enough’, and then you back that up with classless, well, now you have completely killed your kid’s chances of ever being in the WWE”, said Jonathan Coachman.

“And, let’s back that up even further Coach. He was not one of the most popular in the locker room while he was active. When you pile one thing on top of the other, you know like I said man, if this is all about your son, and I get and respect that, you’ve got to put him before you when it comes to this”, added Vince Russo.

WWE hasn’t reacted to the Hall of Famer’s comments yet, but if it does, the current video up on social media could get taken down as well.
