Goldberg’s Son Considering WWE Career

Goldberg WWE

Goldberg’s son could yet find his way to WWE.

At Saturday Night’s Main Event, Goldberg will lace up his boots for the 383rd and final time.

Although his stock has fallen significantly in recent years, and ending Bret Hart’s career is a stain that will never leave his CV, at his peak, Goldberg was a genuine wrestling phenomenon. What he lacked in silky in-ring skills and the gift of the gab on the microphone, he made up for in sheer brutal physical charisma. The type of charisma that no wrestling school in the world can teach.

So when the bell rings and his final battle with Gunther is over, another of WCW’s legends will say goodbye to the industry that made them a hero. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t a new generation waiting to pick up the mantle.

Goldberg’s Son Could Land In WWE

During an interview with Sportskeeda, Goldberg’s son, Gage, was asked whether he might be planning his own wrestling career. In response, he explained that while WWE is on his radar, his main priority remains trying to land a spot in the NFL.

“It’s there. It’s a backup plan for sure. Football’s a priority 100%, but it’s a backup plan. Football is my main plan, WWE is my backup plan 100%.”

While second-generation wrestlers are nothing new, it was recently announced that the sons of Scott Steiner, Mark Henry, and Titus O’Neil have all signed with WWE. Steiner’s son, Brock, is also Bron Breakker’s cousin.
