Goldberg’s Son Could Pay For Father’s Comments Against WWE

Gage Goldberg and Goldberg

Goldberg spoke out against WWE, despite being given the opportunity to work a retirement match that suited him.

Lately, the WWE Universe has been buzzing about the company’s potential reaction, if any, to the WWE Hall of Famer’s negative comments about WWE following his retirement speech being cut short.

While WWE has posted the entire retirement segment on their social media, the portion that NBC broadcast lasted approximately 30 seconds.

Gage Goldberg might bear the brunt of his father’s comments

Da Man’s son has been involved in certain segments alongside Goldberg. In fact, he was involved in a ringside interaction with Gunther during the Saturday Night’s Main Event. The Ring General shoved him, and Gage Goldberg jumped the barricade to get back at him.

It so happens that the WWE Hall of Famer has expressed his desire to have his son be a part of WWE, and his negative comments about the global juggernaut may have sabotaged that chance for his son.

Former WWE head writer Vince Russo claimed that Goldberg’s actions can be deemed as “selfish”, and his son will pay the price for it.

I thought it was a little selfish. Let’s face it, Coach. You and I both have sons. He has made it clear that he wants his son to be part of the WWE. Then, you don’t do this man. You don’t do this because now his son could be the one to pay for this in the long run. Regardless of how you felt, man, if you’re looking to do this to get your son in, then you got to bite your tongue and you got to eat crow, and you got to do that for your son.

Whether or not WWE will react to the comments is yet unknown, but if it does, the global juggernaut might take down the video that is up on social media.
