Goldberg Almost Put Ex-WWE Star In Hospital

Goldberg

A former WWE star didn’t enjoy their match with Goldberg.

After leaving WWE to the sound of boos from the Madison Square Garden crowd in 2004, a return to the company for Goldberg seemed impossible. In the years after his departure he made it clear he didn’t enjoy his time there and was keen to move on.

However, that all changed when the star made a shock return in 2016 to initially be part of 2K17, but he later beat Brock Lesnar in stunning fashion at Survivor Series.

This was followed by an appearance in the 2017 Royal Rumble and a Universal Title win, and then a Universal Title loss to Lesnar. After two years away, Goldberg endured a disastrous outing against The Undertaker at Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia, and many called for him to retire.

Desperately needing to get back on track, Goldberg was quickly back in action at SummerSlam 2019 where he demolished Dolph Ziggler in under two minutes.

In a post on social media, Goldberg recently shared footage of the match with the caption “Be careful what you ask for.” In response, Ziggler, now working in TNA under his Nic Nemeth, appeared to take a shot at the veteran.

Or even what no one but goldblerg asked for

However, one fan saw things differently and said Nemeth was lucky to share the ring with the WWE Hall of Famer.

You’re known basically for being able to get your ass kicked real well…kinda lucky to have been in the ring with the guy at all…

In response, Nemeth said he was lucky to have not been put in hospital.

You are free to believe anything you tell yourself, but that doesn’t make it accurate. “Kinda lucky to have been in the ring with him”…and not end up in a hospital, is much more accurate tho. Thanks for following.

WWE Made Call To Bring Back Goldberg

Goldberg is scheduled to get back in the ring one more time in 2025 even though a date and opponent currently remain unclear. Although fans may be forgiven for thinking that Goldberg was the one who asked WWE for a retirement match, it seems that wasn’t the case.

Speaking in a recent interview, the former World Champion revealed that Triple H reached out to him to ask if he wanted to come back. He said that while he was never going to “beg” for one last match, he was more than happy to take the WWE boss up on his offer.
