Giulia One Step Closer To WWE Debut
Giulia is closing in on her WWE debut.
Giulia signed with the sports entertainment giant back in April after being introduced to fans at NXT Stand & Deliver. She was also in attendance for both nights of WrestleMania 40.
However, the star has continued to wrestle in Japan for Marigold out of loyalty to former Stardom boss Rossy Ogawa. But Giulia’s WWE debut has moved a step closer after she wrestled her final match for the promotion.
Giulia competed in a gauntlet match against 23 other Marigold stars as she said goodbye to the promotion.
Giulia Could Wrestle Outside Of WWE
Despite her move to WWE, it’s been reported that Giulia could still wrestle outside of the company. According to Dave Meltzer, there’s a belief that the star will return to Marigold for up to around four matches per year at the promotion’s biggest shows.
Marigold is looking at the idea of four big shows a year, so I think that maybe WWE would allow her to go back for two, three, four shows a year, something like that. That’s a part of their working together relationship thing.”
When she debuts in NXT, Giulia is expected to be joined by Stephanie Vaquer, and Delta who are also set to start with the promotion soon.
