World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) might have “something going on.”

On Friday, October 21, 2022, Wrestling Observer reported that WWE and GCW possibly have “something going on” in regards to a potential relationship between the two. The news follows Janela’s tweet from Monday before WWE Raw that stated:

“For everyone in GCW Wrestling, in case you missed our email, please promote WWE Raw tonight!”

Nick Hausman, the Senior News Editor of Wrestling Inc., contacted the owner of GCW, Brett Lauderdale, for a comment about the rumors.

“Of course, we are aware of the speculation and the rumors surrounding us right now. We are very excited for the future of GCW, which includes a number of exciting partnerships as well as a game-changing announcement in regards to how people will be able to stream and watch our events going forward! We will make our first of many announcements this Saturday during our event in Detroit, which will air LIVE on FiteTV!”

Wrestling Inc. also contacted Janela, to which she stated in response:

“We can’t talk about it. I’m sorry Nick.”

On Friday, Janela posted on Twitter that fans should expect “huge WrestleMania weekend news,” referring to this weekend. Janela was talking about promotion collective events, which normally happen near where WWE’s WrestleMania takes place. WrestleMania 39 will be hosted in Los Angeles at SoFi Stadium in April of next year.
