Gail Kim Gives Health Update After Being “Rattled” At IMPACT 1000
Gail Kim has reassured people following a hard landing she took on the 1000th episode of IMPACT.
IMPACT, formerly known as TNA Wrestling and NWA-TNA, celebrated its 1000th episode which took place on Saturday, September 9th.
As part of this historic celebration, several former wrestlers came back including Team 3D/the Dudley Boys, Tommy Dreamer, Rhino, and both Awesome Kong and Gail Kim.
Those two women took part in a special ten-woman tag team match and everything appeared to go smoothly; that is, until Kim suffered a small scare that left some fans worried about her health.
At some point during the match, Velvet Sky pulled Kim down and she Jim landed awkwardly and appeared to hit her head on the ground.
The way Kim’s head bounced made people wonder whether she suffered a serious head injury. However, Kim took to social media to assure everyone that she was fine.
“I’m ok just so everyone knows and is updated. I woke up to a lot of people concerned. So yes, I got rattled but I’m ok.”

Gail Kim is one of the most decorated women’s wrestlers in recent memory
Gail Kim started wrestling in 2000 and had two stints in WWE, one from 2002 to 2004 and then again from 2008 to 2011. Her first reign saw her capture the WWE Women’s Championship but her second run saw her leave under somewhat acrimonious circumstances due to her opposition to the direction the company was taking the Divas’ Division.
Outside of WWE, Gail Kim achieved incredible success as a wrestler. She was the centerpiece of IMPACT’s Knockouts Division and won numerous women’s singles and tag titles in that company.
Even after she left WWE, she was still included in a WWE list of the top 50 female superstars, coming in at #33.
