Future Of WWE’s Partnership With TNA Confirmed
What is really going on between WWE and TNA?
TNA and WWE have been in partnership throughout 2025, with the two companies swapping talent on a regular basis. Although WWE firmly kept their side of the deal on NXT, Joe Hendry broke through to the main roster, most notably appearing as Randy Orton’s surprise opponent at WrestleMania 41.
Now, Joe Hendry has signed with WWE, and TNA has signed a new TV deal in the US that takes the company to AMC. One report has suggested that WWE is now looking to end the partnership with TNA, but if that’s the case, someone better tell TNA president Carlos Silva.
TNA Wants To Give Back To WWE
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Silva was asked if TNA and WWE are planning to continue their partnership, and he insisted that was the case:
Absolutely. It’s a big part of helping us get this deal. It’s a big part of, now, being able to almost give back a little and provide a big platform for some of those superstars as well.
Silva also revealed that TNA’s deal with AMC was confirmed to talent at a meeting on the same day as the announcement:
We wanted everyone to hear it from us. There was emotion there from everyone. Everyone knows, everyone knows how hard it’s been to get here. So that’s the good part. The bad part now is we’ve got pressure and we’ve gotta perform and we’ve gotta keep getting bigger.
There had been suggestions that WWE wanted TNA to sign a deal with the CW Network and air on Wednesday nights, head-to-head with AEW Dynamite, but it’s unlikely that fans will ever find out if that was really the case.
