Future Of The Usos Questioned After WWE Reunion

The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) recently reunited, re-entering the tag team division.

For the last couple of years, Jey was touted as a singles wrestler, achieving significant success in and outside the ring. At WrestleMania 41, he even defeated Gunther to become the World Heavyweight Champion for the first time.

Unfortunately, Jimmy did not get the same level of success being assigned to the SmackDown roster as opposed to RAW, where Jey was a regular.

In June, Jey Uso lost the title to Gunther and never won any championship despite being featured in major storylines.

The tipping point for him came when he lost the “Last Time Is Now” semi-final match to LA Knight on December 1. After the match, he tossed the PRIME stand by the ringside in anger before walking away.

The Usos appeared together on the red brand a week later, staking their claim to AJ Styles and Dragon Lee’s tag team titles.

WWE Star Questions The Longevity Of The Usos’ Reunion

On December 15, the Usos faced their long-standing tag team rivals, The New Day (Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston).

Both teams have been involved in a fierce rivalry in the past, producing exceptional matches owing to their athleticism. They exhibited the same chemistry this time around as well by performing great spots and creating multiple near falls.

However, after a grueling battle, the babyfaces managed to secure a much-needed win by hitting 1D on Kofi.

Taking to X, Woods did not read much into the loss, as he praised the siblings for being great tag team competitors. Although he also questioned their longevity, speculating that their reunion would not last.

Cannot stand them but the Usos are an incredible tag team. Let’s see how long their little reunion lasts
