Full Card Revealed For WWE-AAA Worlds Collide Event On September 12th

The lineup has been announced for the next WWE-AAA Worlds Collide, featuring legendary superstars like The New Day getting a title opportunity.

Over the last decade, The New Day has held different versions of WWE main roster tag team titles a total of 12 times. They are also former NXT Tag Team Champions.

While The New Day’s Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods have been mourning their most recent World Tag Team Title loss to Finn Balor & JD McDonagh, they are getting a chance to win Tag Team Titles that they have never won before.

The second WWE-AAA Worlds Collide of the year will take place on Friday, September 12th, in Las Vegas. It will be a busy night for WWE fans since SmackDown will be on at 8 p.m. ET for two hours, and then Worlds Collide will air right after, starting at 10 p.m. ET and airing on WWE’s YouTube channel.

During the WWE SmackDown broadcast from Chicago, a commercial aired promoting the Worlds Collide event featuring main roster and NXT wrestlers in matches with AAA talent. As you can see below, four members of The Judgment Day will be on the card, along with The New Day, Natalya, and NXT North American Champion, Ethan Page.

Six Matches Have Been Announced For WWE-AAA Worlds Collide In Las Vegas

WWE-AAA Worlds Collide in Las Vegas will be headlined by El Hijo Del Vikingo defending the AAA Grand Championship against the WWE Intercontinental Champion, Dominik Mysterio.

At AAA TripleMania, Vikingo successfully defended the Grand Championship against Dominik Mysterio, El Grande Americano, and Dragon Lee in a match where AJ Styles attacked Dominik to help Vikingo get the win. Vikingo was booed heavily by the Mexico City crowd even though he’s a babyface champion.

The advertised lineup with six matches is below.

  • AAA Mega Championship: El Hijo del Vikingo (c) vs. Dominik Mysterio
  • AAA World Tag Team Championships: Psycho Clown & Pagano (c) vs. The New Day’s Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods
  • Mixed Tag Team Match: The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor & Roxanne Perez vs. Mr. Iguana & Lola Vice
  • AAA Reina de Reinas Championship #1 Contender’s Match: Natalya vs. Faby Apache
  • AAA Latin American Championship: El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. vs. Dragon Lee vs. JD McDonagh vs. Ethan Page
  • Lucha Showcase: La Parka, Mascarita Sagrada, Octagon Jr. & Nino Hamburguesa vs. Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde, Lince Dorado & Mini Abismo Negro

It was also announced that WWE Raw superstar Penta would appear, but they did not say if he would be in a match.
