Former WWE Star Returns To IMPACT Wrestling
X-Division Champion Chris Sabin had his hands full when he put his title on the line against Trey Miguel with a former WWE star making things even worse for the champion.
Sabin won the X-Division Title for the ninth time in his career at Against All Odds when he defeated Trey Miguel. Miguel had the chance to reclaim the title in a rematch in Atlanta, Georgia but Sabin looked to be on his way to putting his opponent away and picking up another big win.
However, to the surprise of everyone Miguel’s old partner in The Rascalz Zachary Wentz returned to IMPACT Wrestling, attacking Sabin to cause the disqualification.

Miguel and Wentz then reunited and continued the attack on Chris Sabin until IMPACT World Champion Alex Shelley made the save for his long-time tag team partner.

Wentz, Miguel, and Desmond Xavier had been collectively known as The Rascalz in IMPACT Wrestling until Wentz and Xavier left in 2020 to join WWE. They were both featured on the NXT brand until Wentz was released in April 2022 following accusations of domestic violence from his wife as well as her releasing a photo of Wentz dressed as Hitler.
Xavier remains in WWE as part of the NXT brand where he is known as Wes Lee and currently holds the NXT North American Championship.
