Former WWE Star Reportedly Re-Signs With The Company

It appears that a former WWE Superstar has now officially re-signed with the company after they shockingly re-debuted recently on TV.

On the October 28th episode of WWE Friday Night Smackdown, the Smackdown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey was in the ring talking about the open challenge she issued one week earlier. Rumour swirled as to who Rousey’s opponent might be and fans were stunned when it turned out to be former WWE Superstar, Emma.

The match between Rousey and Emma was a competitive battle that ended when Rousey hit Piper’s Pit followed by an armbar leading to Emma tapping out. Emma did get a couple of near falls in the match, but she wasn’t able to put Rousey away.

Emma was interviewed for a WWE Digital Exclusive on Youtube after her match and talked about what the return meant to her.

“I can’t tell you how good it feels to be back. I waited five years for tonight. Five years to make sure I’m never forgotten again. And now I know exactly what I have to do to be the champion.”

Now Dave Meltzer has reported that the star, who had been competing under her real name of Tenille Dashwood following her WWE exit, has signed a deal with the company and will be part of the SmackDown roster full-time going forward.
