Former WWE Star Makes Official AEW Debut
This former WWE star made her AEW debut on Collision recently
Former WWE star, 22-year-old Zayda Steel, made her AEW debut on Collision this past week. Zayda was part of WWE’s Independent Development program, but refused to renew her contract last year, becoming a free agent.
She competed in Ring of Honor last month in three matches, which is AEW’s sister promotion owned by Tony Khan.
Zayda made her AEW TV debut, appearing alongside Scorpio Sky and the Sky Flight faction against The Death Riders in a match. After Sky Flight lost the trios bout, Zayda was seen getting into an altercation with a Death Riders member, Marina Shafir.
The Megasus, Megan Bayne, then showed up to deliver a devastating powerbomb to Zayda, possibly building up Zayda’s in-ring debut in AEW.
