Former WWE Divas Champion Wants To Wrestle “One More Time”

One former WWE Divas Champion isn’t ready to rule out a return to the squared circle.

Barbie Blank found great success during her time in WWE performing as Kelly Kelly, and though she’s largely retired from in-ring competition, the star said she’d like to wrestle at least one more time.

Speaking in an interview with People following the recent birth of her twins, the former WWE Divas Champion said that she can’t wait to tell her children “that their mom was one badass wrestler.” Continuing, she expressed her hope that she gets to one day wrestler with her kids cheering her on, saying:

“And to get to show them all my old matches, memorabilia and hopefully I’ll get to wrestle one more time with them sitting front row cheering mommy on!”

Who Is Former WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly?

Barbie Blank first joined WWE in 2006 and debuted on the new ECW brand at the age of just 19. Her exhibitionist character proved a hit with fans and ended up in one of CM Punk’s earliest storylines in the company due to the jealousy of her on-screen boyfriend Mike Knox.

Kelly moved to the Raw brand in the summer of 2008 but it wasn’t until the 20th of June 2011 that she reached the peak of her career in WWE when she defeated Brie Bella for the Divas Championship. She lost that title four months later to Beth Phoenix and by in September 2012 she was released by the company.

Kelly has returned as a surprise competitor in the Women’s Royal Rumble match in 2018, 2020, and 2022.
