Former WWE Divas Champion Gives Birth To Twins

A former WWE Divas Champion has welcomed two new additions to her family.

Barbie Blank is best known to wrestling fans as former WWE star Kelly Kelly, who competed for the company between 2006 and 2012. But now she has a whole new challenge ahead as she and husband Joe Coba have welcomed twins into the world.

The baby boy and girl were born on the 10th of September and have been named Jaxon Matthew and Brooklyn Marie respectively. Speaking to People, the former WWE Divas Champion explained what lay behind the choice in names:

“Joe and I wanted to give our children strong names that started with the first letter of our names; J & B. Their middle names are both passed on from my Mom and Dad, Robin Marie and Ronald Matthew. Both babies are happy, healthy and we couldn’t be more in love with our little baby bubble!”

When was Kelly Kelly in WWE?

Blank first joined WWE in 2006 and debuted on the new ECW brand at the age of just 19. Her exhibitionist character proved a hit with fans and ended up in one of CM Punk’s earliest storylines in the company due to the jealousy of her on-screen boyfriend Mike Knox.

Kelly moved to the Raw brand in the summer of 2008 but it wasn’t until the 20th of June 2011 that she reached the peak of her career in WWE when she defeated Brie Bella for the Divas Championship. She lost that title four months later to Beth Phoenix and by in September 2012 she was released by the company.

Kelly Kelly has returned as a surprise competitor in the Women’s Royal Rumble match in 2018, 2020, and 2022.
