Former WWE Champion Reacts To Missing WrestleMania 41
WWE WrestleMania 41 was possibly one that blew the minds of every wrestling fan across the globe.
While the premium live event being John Cena’s final Show of Shows was an important highlight, it wasn’t the only moment that left a mark on the fandom.
Seth Rollins turning heel, Paul Heyman betraying both Roman Reigns and CM Punk, Jey Uso becoming the World Heavyweight Champion, Becky Lynch returning are some of the other memorable incidents from the show. It goes without saying that superstars always want to be a part of The Show of Immortals, but not everybody makes the cut.
Sheamus was “gutted” about not being a part of WWE WrestleMania 41
The former multi-time WWE Champion was a part of Royal Rumble 2025. However, he was absent from television following the event, and returned to the weekly shows on May 5, 2025. While in conversation with Alex McCarthy of Daily Mail, The Celtic Warrior expressed his emotions about missing the event.
“I was gutted that I wasn’t at Mania. The last appearance that I had was at the Rumble. I want to be in the mix. I want to be there. I’m more passionate now about my job than I ever have been. Some of the guys are like, ‘You’ve been at so many WrestleManias, so it’s okay.’ But it’s not okay, I love what I do.
Furthermore, Sheamus explained that he is always looking forward to putting up a magnificent show for the WWE Universe, and wants to continue doing so until he isn’t capable anymore.
