Former WWE Champion Set For Imminent Return
Former WWE Champion AJ Styles is set for a return to WWE television after several weeks on the sidelines.
AJ Styles last competed in a WWE ring back on the 15th of September edition of SmackDown when he lost to Finn Balor. Following that bout The Bloodline’s Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa laid out Styles in vicious fashion, apparently sending him to the hospital.
That attack came amid apparent unrest among The OC with Styles looking to take the fight to The Bloodline after they disrespected Michin while Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson cautioned Styles to leave things with Roman Reigns’ group alone.
AJ Styles Set For WWE SmackDown Return After Crown Jewel
PWInsider has now reported that AJ Styles is set for an imminent return to WWE television and he is slated to return at the November 10th SmackDown taping in Columbus, Ohio.
It is unknown what Styles will be doing on his return to the company but given his previous issues with The Bloodline, he could end up as a challenger to Roman Reigns’ WWE Universal Championship should Reigns get past the challenge of LA Knight at Crown Jewel.
Roman Reigns puts his title on the line against LA Knight in the main event of Crown Jewel on November 4th on a show that will also see Solo Sikoa face John Cena.
It remains to be seen what AJ Styles’ relationship will be with The OC on his return but his teammate Karl Anderson recently welcomed the birth of his fifth son.
