Former WWE Champion Could Switch Brands
Another top WWE star could move brands.
On February 1, Jey Uso shocked the world by winning the 2025 Royal Rumble match at the expense of heavy favourite John Cena. As usual, the two Royal Rumble matches were complete with surprises and returns with fans kept on their toes.
Earlier in the night, the women’s Rumble match was won by Charlotte Flair, who was competing in her first match in over 13 months. Alexa Bliss also returned during the match as Jordynne Grace made her official debut as a WWE Superstar.
Prior to Jey Uso’s surprise win, fans were also treated to the return from injury of AJ Styles. The former World Champion had been out of action since suffering an injury in a match on SmackDown against Carmelo Hayes. However, that might have been his last match on the show for the time being.
AJ Styles To Leave WWE SmackDown
Following his big comeback, it’s been reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider that Styles could be moving to Monday Night Raw. The star has been a regular on SmackDown since being drafted by the blue brand back in April 2023.
In recent weeks, WWE has been gradually shaking up its rosters, with Bayley and A-Town Down Under also moving to Raw with Damian Priest, Zelina Vega, and the Wyatt Sicks among those going in the opposite direction.
Logan Paul, who eliminated Styles from the Rumble, was also recently made part of Raw. It’s unclear whether Styles will continue his rivalry with the YouTube star after arriving on the red brand.
