Former World Champion Shines On WWE SmackDown Debut

Tonight’s edition of WWE SmackDown saw the in-ring debuts of two former TNA World Champions on the blue brand, after being called up from NXT recently.

Trick Williams competed in the opening match of the night as he defeated Rey Fenix with a quick roll-up. The second match of the night for a former TNA World Champion saw Jordynne Grace make her SmackDown debut.

Grace was called up to the main roster last week, where she got into an altercation with Jade Cargill. Tonight, she was confirmed as the newest member of the SmackDown roster.

During her backstage segment with Nick Aldis, where she signed her SmackDown contract, she was interrupted by Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre. They got into Jordynne’s face before Aldis announced a match between her and Alba Fyre for tonight.

Grace took on Fyre in the ring and made light work of Chelsea Green’s lackey in the ring and earned a comfortable win on her debut. Following her match, she was interrupted by Jade Cargill as she made her way to the back, who made her presence known in the arena.
