Former World Champion Linked With NXT Appearance
NXT could be set for another crossover.
The working relationship between TNA and NXT remains in good health with Joe Hendry set to compete at the second night of the Great American Bash. The recently reformed MSK will also look to walk out with tag team gold when they challenge Axiom & Nathan Frazer.
Meanwhile, there reportedly could be another surprise in store.
According to a report from Fightful Select, some backstage have suggested former TNA World Champion Josh Alexander could make an appearance. Alexander has been linked with WWE’s third brand for several weeks.
The star was most recently in action on the August 2nd TNA taping where he challenged Nic Nemeth for the World Title.
NXT Recruiting WWE Legends
NXT will finally premiere on the CW Network on October 1st after ending its relationship with the USA Network. The move comes as part of a raft of WWE broadcast changes with SmackDown moving to USA from Fox two weeks earlier, while Raw lands on Netflix in January 2025.
To celebrate moving to its new home, NXT has gone big announcing that the episode will be held at All State Arena in Chicago along with an appearance from CM Punk.
Seven days later, WWE’s third brand will head to the Enterprise Center in St. Louis with special guest Randy Orton.
