Former World Champion Earns Major Advantage on WWE SmackDown
The WWE Women’s WarGames match is set to be one of the biggest of its kind in the promotion’s history. The field is set with some of the best female wrestlers and biggest stars on both sides.
Last week on SmackDown, both teams were complete after AJ Lee was revealed as the fifth member of Rhea Ripley’s team. Shortly after the revelation, the heels attacked the rest of the faces, who were present in the ring.
Becky Lynch attacked Lee, who was rushing to her team’s aide, and confirmed herself to be the fifth member of the heels. A brawl broke out between all 10 competitors on this past week’s WWE RAW and an advantage match was set for tonight.
Before every WarGames match, an advantage match is scheduled between competitors from both sides, where the winner’s team gets the number advantage during the WarGames match. The winner’s team will always have a two-on-one advantage in the match till all compeitors get inside the structure.
Charlotte Flair wins the advantage before WWE Survivor Series
Charlotte Flair was representing Ripley’s team while Asuka was the representative from Becky’s team as they looked to win the advantage. Both these women have had an intense personal rivalry and something similar was on display tonight.
Charlotte gained the upper hand in the match against the Empress before it became a more evenly matched affair. The two women traded blows with each other till Flair gained control once again.

Asuka tried to mount a comeback and managed to put Flair in an armbar but she countered it with a powerbomb. Asuka tried to mist Charlotte on the outside but only managed to get the timekeeper. Flair won the match shortly afterwards after catching Asuka with a Natural Selection to earn the win.
