Former Women’s Champion Wants Match With Mercedes Mone

Mercedes Mone AEW Dynamite debut

A top AEW name wants their shot at Mercedes Mone.

Mercedes Mone has been the talk of the wrestling town after making her AEW debut at Dynamite Big Business.

Since making her debut, Mone has spoken openly about her desire to help build the women’s division and take women’s wrestling to new heights. The appearance from Mone immediately sparked excitement among fans with a whole host of new match-ups now on the table.

Interestingly, it seems the excitement isn’t just confined to fans, with the locker room looking to get their shot at The CEO.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, former AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa said she’s eager to work with the former WWE star.

“There is a lot of hope that she is going to be a member who brings a difference in the locker room and everything she has accomplished for who she is. She definitely has a lot of influence in the world of entertainment. I think a lot of people are eager to work with her. I include myself.

When you have players like that coming into the arena, it will be interesting to see if she will be able to say and do what she said, which is a revolution. I’m excited for it,”

Thunder Rosa will be in action on the March 20th episode of Dynamite when she teams with Deonna Purrazzo to take on current Women’s Champion Toni Storm and Mariah May.

Mercedes Mone Given Monster Deal By AEW

After signing with AEW, Mercedes Mone has become the highest-paid woman in wrestling history. Furthermore, Mone owns all of the trademarks relating to her character including her entrance music.

It’s been reported that such a deal would be impossible in WWE for anyone not named The Rock.
