AEW hosted its first episode of Dynamite of the new year, and it produced an amazing night filled with incredible action and some surprises throughout the night.

The most-talked-about moment from the night saw Andrade El Idolo make his return to the promotion following a lengthy absence and realigned himself with the Don Callis Family.

However, it turned out that he wasn’t the only member being added to the Don Callis-led stable, as another wrestler aligned himself with the group and was later announced as the promotion’s newest star.

Jake Something officially signs with AEW

Former TNA star Jake Something aligned with Mark Davis and the DCF after they took up Ricochet on the bounty he issued on JetSpeed, moments before the show went on air.

Jake would then be seen attacking the Young Bucks and Jack Perry after their match with the Demand, where he was referred to by the commentary team as Jake Doyle, officially debuting his new name in the promotion.
