Former NXT Star Debuts For IMPACT Wrestling (SPOILERS)

A former NXT star has made their surprise debut for IMPACT Wrestling at the promotion’s latest set of tapings, tangling with a former champion.

IMPACT Wrestling recently taped shows that will air in the lead-up to its No Surrender event to be held on the 24th of February in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Several of IMPACT’s champions were in action at the tapings and a former NXT star also made her debut for the promotion as Steph De Lander – formerly known as Persia Pirotta – took on former Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace.

De Lander debuted as part of NXT in October 2021 forming a tag team with Indi Hartwell. Her on-screen WWE career only lasted a matter of months, however, as she had her last bout – a match against Hartwell – in March 2022.

  • Jonathan Gresham defeated Aiden Prince
  • Mike Bailey defeated Raj Singh – Gresham then challenged Bailey to a match at No Surrender which was accepted
  • Bullet Club (Ace Austin & Chris Bey) defeated KUSHIDA & Kevin Knight
  • Gisele Shaw defeated Savannah Evans
  • Crazzy Steve defeated Sheldon Jean
  • Bully Ray cut a promo trashing Tommy Dreamer which brought out Knockouts Champion Mickie James to defend him. After the two slapped each other, Dreamer came out to make the save which set up a tag team match later on with Ray banned from ringside.
  • Kenny King defeated Johnny Swinger
  • Sami Callihan & The Design (Deaner, Kon, Angels) defeated IMPACT World Champion Josh Alexander, Frankie Kazarian, Yuya Uemura & Rich Swann
  • Brian Myers defeated Dirty Dango to qualify for a four-way no. 1 contender’s match at No Surrender
  • Jordynne Grace defeated Steph De Lander (the former Persia Pirotta)
  • Knockouts Tag Team Champions Death Dollz (Taya Valkyrie & Rosemary) defeated Killer Kelly & Taylor Wilde in a non-title match. Afterward, Father James Mitchell came out and said Rosemary hadn’t paid respect to his boss lately and brought out former NWA Women’s Tag Team Champions The Hex (Allysin Kay & Marti Belle) to attack the champions.
  • PCO defeated Shera to qualify for a four-way no. 1 contender’s match at No Surrender
  • Tommy Dreamer & Knockouts Champion Mickie James defeated The Good Hands (John Skyler & Jason Hotch). Afterward, Bully Ray attacked Dreamer while Masha Slamovich attacked James.
  • Digital Media Champion Joe Hendry defeated Matt Cardona to retain the title when Moose hit Cardona by accident after trying to attack Hendry
  • IMPACT Tag Team Champions The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Eddie Edwards & X-Division Champion Trey Miguel to retain their gold.
