Former NXT North American Champion Takes Out Ethan Page

NXT North American Champion, All-Ego Ethan Page, was out in the ring tonight as he boasted about his achievements on the black and silver brand, ever since he joined the promotion.

He claimed that during his current reign as the North American Champion, he has made the championship the most sought-after belt on the brand, while also adding the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championships to his cabinet.

Ethan Page defeated Mr Iguana at NXT Deadline this past weekend and demanded that he deserves a break after going through some of the very best wrestlers that tried to take the belt off him. He was in the middle of his address to the crowd when he was attacked by a former champion.

Tony D’Angelo returned to WWE NXT tonight

Former NXT North American Champion Tony D’Angelo made his first appearance in months at Deadline this past Saturday. He came out right at the end of the show and took out Je’Von Evans with a one-handed spinebuster.

Tonight, he made his return to the NXT brand and did so in the same way as he did against Evans. The lights went off when Ethan Page was cutting his promo, and Tony D’Angelo appeared behind him.

He took out Page with the same one-handed spinebuster he used against Evans. Since returning, D’Angelo has now taken out the number one contender for the NXT Championship and the North American Champion, so it remains to be seen what his next move is going to be.
