Former NXT Champions Make Debut On WWE Main Roster
Two former NXT Champions have made their televised debut on WWE’s main roster as they took on former Raw Tag Team Champions, The OC.
In recent months, several stars from the NXT brand have mixed it up with those on WWE’s main roster on Main Event. The likes of Tony D’Angelo, Zoey Stark, Charlie Dempsey, Odyssey Jones, and Von Wagner have competed on the show in recent weeks and now it was the turn of Indi Hartwell – who was part of the 2023 women’s Royal Rumble – and former NXT Tag Team Champions, The Creed Brothers.
Hartwell faced off with Dana Brooke on the episode of Main Event that will air on the 9th of June while Julius and Brutus Creed went toe to toe with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson of The OC.
The Creed Brothers captured the NXT Tag Team Championship back at In Your House in June 2022 when they defeated Pretty Deadly for the gold. Elton Prince and Kit Wilson got their revenge just three months later at Worlds Collide when they won a Fatal Four-Way Elimination match to unify the NXT and NXT UK Tag Team Titles.
The Creed Brothers have impressed during their run as part of the Diamond Mine on WWE’s developmental brand but the brothers recently came up short when they finally faced long-time rivals Indus Sher.
