Former Divas Champion Talks Up WWE Comeback

WWE Divas Championship

A former WWE Superstar is open to a comeback.

History has shown that wrestling retirements are something of a myth, and all doors to WWE will remain open. Just look at CM Punk for proof that if there’s a deal to be made, it will be made.

However, one former star who is on much better terms with the company is Barbie Blank — better known to wrestling fans as Kelly Kelly. Although the star hasn’t been a full-time wrestler for several years, and her WWE career ended in 2012 fans might not have seen the last of her in the ring.

While speaking on a recent virtual signing with RDP Promotions, Kelly said she would be “open” to a comeback.

“I would be open to a comeback. We’ll see. I want my twins to come and watch me one day.” she said.

Kelly Kelly celebrated the birth of her twins in September 2023.

When Did Kelly Kelly Last Wrestle In WWE?

Kelly Kelly initially signed with WWE in 2006 and spent some time in developmental before debuting on the main roster as part of ECW. The star went on to win the Divas Championship before being released in September 2012.

Kelly has made occasional appearances with the sports entertainment giant since 2017 and has wrestled in the 2018, 2020, and 2022 women’s Royal Rumble matches.
