Another Former Champion Would Love WWE Return
An ex-WWE star is open to a comeback.
When Victoria Crawford took part in the NXT Women’s Championship number one contender Battle Royal on October 7, it was her first in-ring WWE appearance since the 2022 Royal Rumble.
Crawford, known as Alicia Fox in WWE, signed with the sports entertainment giant in 2006 before winning the Divas Championship. However, by 2019, her appearances became few and far between, and she was gone from the company in May 2023.
Despite being critical of WWE following her exit, Crawford has admitted she’d be open to returning. During an appearance on The Velvet Ropes, the star spoke glowingly about her recent return to NXT.
“Never say never as they say, right? I would love to, but why? Because of the younger girls that are there.
It gives me goosebumps thinking about meeting all the NXT kids and the Evolve kids… I related to them so deeply. Some of the things they were saying were just youthful, and it just rejuvenated my spirit.
If WWE ever wants me to come back, I would love to, just to be in that zone.”
Eva Marie Open To WWE Comeback
The comments come as Eva Marie also admitted that she’d never close the door on a return to WWE.
During a new interview, Marie said she would be “silly” to ever fully turn her back on the company because of how much she loves performing. The star added that getting to perform in front of huge live crowds is a high that can’t be replicated elsewhere.
Eva Marie initially joined WWE in 2013 and became part of Total Divas before being moved onto the main roster. She eventually left the company in 2017 to focus on non-wrestling projects before returning to Raw in June 2021. However, she was released just four months later.
