Former Champion Offered New Deal By WWE
WWE is looking to keep hold of another popular star.
Following the news that Natalya’s WWE contract expires within weeks, it’s now been revealed that the company has reached out with the offer of an extension.
According to a new report from Fightful Select, there have been talks between the two sides, but at present, a deal is yet to be reached. Natalya is reportedly “keeping all options open,” and has been working on several projects outside of the company.
Natalya was the only female graduate from the original Hart Family Dungeon and holds several company records including the most wins by a female wrestler, and most matches by a female wrestler at WrestleMania, on Raw, SmackDown, and PPV.
Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins & More Sign New WWE Deals
In recent weeks it’s been revealed that the quartet of Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, and Damian Priest had all signed new contracts. In the case of Rollins and McIntyre, both deals are said to be for “big money” across multiple years.
The company has moved to lock in several big names over the last six months with Charlotte Flair, Bayley, Rey Mysterio, and Dominik Mysterio all putting pen to paper on contract extensions at the end of 2023. Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes confirmed in March that he’s signed a new multi-year deal.
However, there’s been no word on the future of Becky Lynch who is set to become a free agent in June.
