January 5th, 2026, marked the first WWE RAW of the year. It was power-packed!

Three championship matches were announced for the show.

Out of the three, two championships changed hands on Monday Night RAW!

Asuka broke her silence after losing on WWE RAW

The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) put the Women’s Tag Team Championship on the line against RHIYO (Rhea Ripley and IYO Sky).

While the champions battled to the best of their abilities, they fell short in front of the challengers. RHIYO hit Asuka with a Riptide and Over the Moonsault to secure the Women’s Tag Team Championship.

Following that, Asuka took to social media to break her silence. She has maintained her positivity, urging fans to believe and have faith, and expressed her feelings about negative individuals.

Happy New Year! We’ve got another chance to seize the championship and break even more records. My believers, change your mundane perspective, and the view before you will transform. Negative people are just too gloomy. I can’t stand them 🫰🤡

Apart from the Women’s Tag Team Championship, CM Punk retained the World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker while Becky Lynch dethroned Maxxine Dupri as the Women’s Intercontinental Champion.
