Former AEW World Tag Team Champions Turn Face at Full Gear
The 2025 edition of AEW’s Full Gear has been an entertaining PPV for the promotion’s fans. The event has seen several memorable moments take place on the show, including some new champions being crowned.
Ricochet, FTR, and Mark Briscoe all won championships at the show, but there was another huge moment that took place in the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The show saw many tag teams compete on the show, and one of them turned face after their match.
Three-time AEW World Tag Team Champions, The Young Bucks, teamed up with Josh Alexander of the Don Callis Family and took on the trio of Jurassic Express and Kenny Omega. The Don Callis-led team walked away with the win after The Bucks pinned Jack Perry, but things didn’t end there for everyone involved.
The Young Bucks hint at the return of popular AEW stable
Following their match, The Young Bucks were walking away with Don Callis with their million-dollar prize money when Josh Alexander and the rest of the Don Callis Family started attacking Omega. The Bucks, who have been longtime friends with Kenny Omega, couldn’t just stand around and watch.
Instead, they returned to the ring and superkicked Josh Alexander, thus ending their association with the Don Callis Family and turning face in the process. They helped Kenny Omega and took out the rest of the members.
