Former AEW Star Finally Returns To The Ring After 2 Years
A former AEW star has finally competed in their first match in over two years.
It was all the way back in 2023 that wrestling fans last saw former TNA Knockouts Champion Allie in the ring. However, AEW fans will know her best as The Bunny. She left the company later that year, and since then, her wrestling career has been very quiet.
That seemed like it was all about to change when Allie took to social media to share a video where she announced she’s returned to in-ring training:
I haven’t had an actual wrestling match in, sh*t, I think it might be two years. Many things have changed in my life and something in me just felt like I want to get back in the ring and see how it feels.
Not only did I not have a match but I hadn’t trained, I hadn’t bumped, I hadn’t been in wrestling at all for quite a long time. Maybe the last couple months, I started feeling like I really missed it in a way that I honestly didn’t expect.
The Bunny Returns…But Not To AEW
Now, The Bunny has been in action for the first time since she competed in a trios match on the September 8th 2023 edition of Rampage. On that occasion, she teamed with Anna Jay and Taya Valkyrie in a loss against Britt Baker, Hikaru Shida, and Skye Blue.
The Bunny made a surprise appearance at Mystery Wrestling, where she teamed with Penelope Ford to take on Allison Kay and Marti Belle.
